Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a short jaunt to get the IP on new platforms as a PS5 seller, which it absolutely does well. With that in mind, it's possible that Spider-Man 2 is already into some stage of development. Insomniac Games is a busy beaver, as it's also working on Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and there's likely a couple of other projects not known to the public.
